US stocks seen up ahead of factory data and auto sales
Stock index futures pointed to a slightly higher open on Tuesday, as manufacturing data showing a continued contraction in the euro zone failed to shake gains in European stocks.
Yesterday, the RegMed Sector remained in negative territory. ASTM showed signs of recovery as RegMed stocks closed with no real news – and the caveat that – “everything is cheap” in this sector!
DOW futures are UP +0.4% while NASDAQ futures are also UP at +0.6%%.
European stock markets rise on Tuesday, with investors keeping their eyes on Cyprus. Asia stocks generally fell; although Australian shares rose as the central bank signaled confidence in the economy.
