All Too Human (2015) is a work by JULIEN NGUYEN that is part of the graduates’ exhibition of Frankfurt’s art academy Städelschule currently presented at MMK 3 in Frankfurt.

According to the press release, ‘the title of the graduates’ exhibition – “Parked Like Serious Oysters” – is based on the Manifeste Cannibale Dada by the French painter FRANCIS PICABIA (1897–1953). Throughout his career, PICABIA consistently defied categorization in a certain artistic style. He began as an Impressionist, then turned to Cubism, processed elements of Fauvism as well as Surrealism in his works, and ultimately joined the Neo-Impressionists. (..) In his Manifeste Cannibale Dada, he called for protest against the middle-class world and its values, and against the inflexibility of the existing system’.

Parked Like Serious Oysters – Graduates of the Städelschule 2015 is on view at MMK 3 Frankfurt until November 15, 2015. Please note also that JULIEN NGUYEN is currently presenting his work in a solo exhibition at the Frankfurter gallery Neue Alte Brücke till December 16, 2015.
