When I was younger, I used to play the guitar in a band. I really enjoyed playing the guitar, and I still do, but I just don’t seem to be able to find the time to practice like I once was able to. One of the best things about playing an instrument or singing is being able to record your work. Not only is it a creative process, but you also have something cool to show for it in the end. There are a lot of music fans out there who can’t sing or play an instrument but would still love to be able to record their own music. Whether you have musical skills or not, you can make use of UJAM.

If you already have some musical talent, then you’ll be able to put it on display here and record your music, but if you’re new to making music, you can crudely sing or hum a tune and polish it with UJAM. It’s amazing what you can do with a simple melody in this online recording and mixing environment. You can make it sound like whatever style of music or instrument that you want, and before you know it, you’ll be saving and sharing your musical creation with other people who will think you’ve had lessons before.
