Image Journal Blog Essay: “The Afflicter of the Comforted”
My latest essay for Image Journal‘s ”Good Letters” blog appears today. It may be my favorite short-essay I’ve ever written. I had a blast working on it. It’s called “The Afflicter of the Comfortable.” It is a loving tribute to my dear friend, Mr. Timothy P. Herndon, whose elbow is well acquainted with my ribs.
