In first person shooting games you need incredible reflexes, and to match your reflexes, you need a good gaming mouse. The Corsair M60 Gaming Mouse is under the radar here. It is a laser gaming mouse designed keeping the fans of FPS games in mind. It took me a while to understand why gamers make so much fuss about the dpi and response time of their mouse. This mouse features a dedicated sniper mode to lower the dpi of your mouse for maximum precision and has an excellent design like the transformers robots.
It has a radicle design like most other gaming mouse and there is a hint on metallic frame on the back, which is just stunning with those three big bolts. It looks simple yet elegant with just a few buttons on it. I personally do not like too many buttons, even on a gaming mouse as it takes a while getting used to. There is a rubberized tracking wheel with three scroll functions between the left and right click buttons and below that; you get two other buttons to switch dpi on the fly. We have seen that option on the base of many mouse from razer but having it here is nice. The surface texture is nice and it is slightly rough on the sides to provide better grip. Even after hours of use, there will not be much oil buildup on the surface.
The mouse is as impressive as performance as it looks. It has a maximum dpi of 5700 and the response times are incredible. There is downloadable software, which would allow you to customize the programmable dpi via the buttons for adjusting on the fly. You can also change the weight according to your preferences. The mouse connects via USB 3.0 and there is no wireless option. The chord however is tangle free. This mouse definitely makes a good buy if you need something that performs well and is comfortable for long usage.
