Huawei launched the Honor 4C in China last week and with the news which is coming in, it seems that Huawei is going to launch the Honor 4C in other markets as well. Chinese smartphone manufacturers are gaining pace to give tough competition to the high players of this game. These companies have entered many markets across the globe and are making affordable and excellent smartphones at amazing prices.
Huawei has sent an invitation for a launch event scheduled on 8 May 2015 in Mumbai. It is being anticipated that the Chinese maker is going to launch the Honor 4C and Honor Bee in India. The Honor 4C is a 5 inch device which has a HP IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It runs on a 1.2 GHz Octa-Core Kirin 620 processor with Mali 450 as its GPU. It packs 2 gigs of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a micro SD card. It is a dual SIM phone and also supports 4G connectivity. Running on top of Android 4.4 Kitkat is Huawei’s own custom Emotion UI 3.0. The device has a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28-mm wide-angle lens. The front facing camera is a 5 MP unit, enough to take decent selfies. Under the back of the device is a 2550 mAh battery which should provide a decent battery backup.
Huawei Honor Bee, on the other hand, has a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is clearly the more affordable device of the two. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. The graphics is handled by Mali-400 GPU. Under the hood there is 1 GB of RAM available for multi tasking and 8 GB of internal storage to take care of your applications. Like the Honor 4C, the Honor Bee also gets a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage. This device also runs of Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI. Other features of the Honor Bee are an 8 MP primary camera with dual LED flash, a 2 MP front facing camera and dual SIM capabilities. It lacks 4G connectivity but does support 3G signals. It has a 1730 mAh battery.
Just like its other previous products Huawei would launch these new smartphones exclusively on Flipkart. It is being anticipated that the Honor 4C would be priced at INR 8,999 and the Honor Bee, the more affordable of the two, would carry a tag of INR 4,999.
