HTC Desire 820G+ Dual SIM Launched at Rs. 19,990
Leading smartphone vendor HTC has launched its Desire 820G+ in India. The smartphone was launched in Taiwan in the month of June, and now is set to hit the Indian market at an enticing price of Rs. 19,990. HTC has been launching different avatars of its Desire 820, and now this is another power packed variant, coming in Saffron Grey, Santorini White, and Milky Way Grey colors.
In terms of specifications, HTC Desire 820G+ Dual Sim runs the recent Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box, and flaunts a beautiful HD display of 5.5-inches. It has been powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz, and is clubbed with 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, just like HTC Desire 820, the rear camera of this device is a 13-megapixel shooter, and front-facing camera is a powerful 8-megapixel snapper. It produces ideal images under broad day-light and low-light conditions, and is backed 16 gigs of built-in storage, further expandable by up to 32 gigs via external microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the dual-sim HTC Desire 820G+ packs standard support with a rich selection of options like GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. It comes with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, and packs a terrific music experience with or without headphones. According to the official website of HTC, the Desire 820G+ Dual sim still misses out on 4G LTE capabilities. However, browsing on mobile network or Wi-Fi is sure to be extremely smooth and glitch free.
For power users, Desire 820G+ Dual Sim serves as an ideal choice with its long-lasting battery of 2600mAh. The powerful HTC smartphone is backed by a big battery, and serves well enough to hold sufficient amount of charge throughout the day. According to the company, the phone can easily give up to 12 hours of talk time and 560 hours of standby time. In terms of design, it features a decent look, measures 157.7×78.74×7.74mm in dimension, and weighs just around 155 grams.
The latest Desire 820G+ packs a decent set of specs, and just like other recently launched HTC phone, supports HTC DotView cases. At the launch, the President of HTC South Asia, Faisal Siddiqui commented about the fast processing, bigger screen, better sound experience, and outstanding battery life of Desire 820G+, and highlighted some more of its major advantages!
