This app gives a simplified way to analyze and maintain a record of blood glucose, and also endows instant tele-consultation service from a pool of doctors at a reasonable fee of Rs. 650/consultation.
The introduction of Diabeto app looks like a great idea to cater the needs of more than 350 million diabetic patients. The app promises a lot and includes a slew of features for keeping diabetes under check. We tried this app for a few days, and here is what we think of it-
The user interface of Diabeto is not based on material design, but the app looks incredible from all prospects. It features a simple and easy to understand interface with blue accents and a slide-in menu for adding a new entry of blood glucose data, creating a logbook, and analyzing the stored data. It collects blood sugar data from a plethora of glucometers, and also includes an added option for manual data entry. You can track your diabetes reports anytime and can store it on the cloud as well.
As for performance, Diabeto runs fairly well without any lags or hiccups. While tracking, monitoring or analyzing data, you’ll not witness any performance glitch in this app. It gives you daily and weekly analysis of blood sugar levels, connects seamlessly with different devices, and promises to maintain a logbook for up to 1 year. On this app, users can enter their pre and post meal sugar levels along with their daily activity, and can also have a summarized report in the form of an Excel sheet after a particular time period. The created on this app can also be shared with a friend or doctor.
An essential plus side of this brilliant app is the tele-consultation service from a pool of specialized diabetes doctors.
