With expectations to bounce back in the Indian market, Chinese tech conglomerate Oppo has added a new player into its tempting budget phone line-up. The phone is touted as “selfie-expert” Oppo F1, and camera setup is just the right package for on-the-go photography and selfie enthusiasts!
In terms of look and feel, Oppo F1 makes a great first impression. The selfie-expert handset incorporates a 5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and flaunts an exemplary look with meticulously crafted chamfered edges and an aluminium alloy back panel. Its rear panel gives a great grip, and has a silk metal texture which, according to the company, is a result of 40 rigorous polishing procedures. Undoubtedly, this 7.25mm thick handset is an exquisite piece of craftsmanship from Oppo.
Even on the hardware front, Oppo F1 stands out in the category. The dual-SIM based handset incorporates an octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset with 3GB of RAM, and performs smoothly without any lags or glitches. It packs 16 gigs of inbuilt memory, which can expanded up to 128 GB, and offers more than enough room for seamless multi-tasking and data-storage.
But as we said, camera is the biggest USP of this mind-boggling handset. On the rear, the 13-megapixel shooter gives a nice photography experience with an ISOCELL sensor, phase detection auto focus, anti-shake optimization, Super Macro and Ultra-HD capabilities. It features an aperture as wide as f/2.2, and gives clear and colour-rich images within half-a-second!
The front-facing shooter, on the other side, is best in the category. It incorporates an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, which allows 44% more light than an ordinary front-facing camera. You click clearer and sharper selfies in low-light environments, and can easily get the best of features like, Beautify 3.0, screen-flash, and gesture support.
Overall, the new beauty from Oppo endows a slick user-experience with a perfect balance of excellent camera output and top-notch performance. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 2.1 out-of-the box, and includes a slew of connectivity options alongside 4G LTE with support for indian bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and VoLTE.
Oppo also offers Dirac high-fidelity stereo sound with handset, and offers full support to gamers and movie-buffs with very-impressive 2500 mAh Li-Po battery!
