(Before It's News)

Moto E3 Power, the upgraded variant of July launched Moto E3 is hitting the shelves in Hong Kong. The entry-level handset received Wi-Fi certification last month and now it’s going on sale via a third party retailer at HKD 1,098 (roughly Rs. 9,500). Though there’s no official announcement yet, the beefed up Moto E Power is making headlines with its improved set of specs. The device ships with enhanced capabilities which basically includes more storage and a big battery.

We still don’t know whether Lenovo plans on unveiling this handset internationally, but what we do know is the spectacular set of specs that come aboard.

Moto E3 Power Specifications:

Moto E3 Power features a beautiful HD IPS display of 5-inches and throttles a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor at 1GHz with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It offers sufficient room for work and play, but there’s always room for more with expandability up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Just like Moto E3, the Power variant also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features an 8-megapixel sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front with HDR, autofocus, and LED flash. We haven’t tested the camera unit, but we’re pretty sure it’ll be a big bump-up over the previous Moto E launched in India. It will also include dual-SIM connectivity with support for Wi-Fi, 3G, A-GPS, and Indian LTE bands.

But, the idea of introducing a massive battery is the biggest highlight. Moto E3 Power accommodates a 3,500 mAh battery and is likely to last an entire day on a single charge. There’s still no word on the official India release, but Moto India has been teasing a big battery phone on Twitter this week.

Moreover, it is also important to note that a Motorola handset with model number XT1706 has been spotted on India’s export-import website Zauba. According to the listing, thousands of units of the handset have been imported into the country at a price tag of Rs. 5,380. This could either be Moto E3 or E3 Power, but we’re pretty sure that one of these beauties is in the pipeline for a launch sometime in September.
