Feds Set Final Rules for Birth Control Mandate. The Obama administration on July 3 took the final step toward ensuring that women can keep their birth control coverage even if their employer refuses to provide it on religious grounds.

 

Birth Control Isn’t a ‘Women’s Issue’ – It’s An Economic Issue. Birth control is not only the biggest asset to female autonomy in modern history, it is also an economic issue that is in all of our best interests. Almost half of pregnancies in the U.S. are unplanned. Significantly reducing unintended pregnancies would save taxpayers an estimated average of $5.6 billion per year.
