The brothers, Kevin Alexis, 19 years of age and Justin, 13 years old, were executed with high powered weapons the past Tuesday afternoon at the Centrica Laguna del Nainari, they were identified as alleged(?) nephews of Emma Coronel, wife of El Chapo Guzman Loera, and daughter of the then Sinaloan Capo, Ines Coronel Barreras.

The youngsters have the surname Coronel Orduno were sons of Sergio Coronel Ibarra, nephew of Nacho Coronel, ex head of the Sinaloa, Juarez, Jalisco and Milenio cartels, who died on 29th of July of 2010 during an operation carried out in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

The mother of the victims was identified as Elizabeth Orduno Manzanares, sister of Gustavo, Director of human rights for the Municipal Public Security under the charge of the PRI mayor, Faustino Felix.

The State Police investigation unit confirmed that the armed attack was registered at 3:15 pm and the crossroads of Calles Nainari and Michoacán in the Cuauhtémoc Colonia.

According to primary investigations the brothers were hit with 7.62 x 39 mm calibre rounds, fired from a Kalashnikov AK47, known as cuerno de chivo or goat horn in Mexico, the shots were fired from a white Honda Accord of recent model.

The victims were aboard a red Volkswagen Jetta, it left the perimeter boundary of a close by house, located on the North side of calle Nainari and West of calle Michoacán, where experts recovered 20 spent shell casings.

Witnesses related to the authorities and to diverse communication media that the brothers were chased by the occupants of the Honda, in which there were three persons.

When the aggressors caught up with the victims vehicle, they fired into it on repeated occasions on the passenger side, and later attacked the front passenger, then abandoned the scene on calle Michoacán in the direction of the Bajo canal.

They also mentioned that stray projectiles had lodged in the façade of a Pharmacy that is located on a South-East corner.

SDP Noticias puts their ages at 18 and 12 and does not reveal their surnames.
