Delhi had today remained in the hold of cold wave with the minimum temperature staying around five degree Celsius even as shoal fog covered Delhi during the early hours of the day, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded as 5.4 degree Celsius, which is a couple of degrees below the normal temperature.The maximum in last 24 hours was recorded at 14.6 degrees, which is 7 degrees below normal temperature for this time of the year.
Yesterday the minimum temperature in Delhi was 4.5 degree celcius, Fog went down on the capital early Saturday morning but it didn’t affect the flight services at the Indira Gandhi International Airport there in Delhi. Officials at the airport said that the visibility at the main runway dipped to less than 200 metres early in the morning and some of the flights landed using the CAT-II instrument landing system.
The Weatherman had anticipated a foggy morning for tomorrow with temperature likely to stay between 7 and 18 degree Celsius.
