I enjoyed reading PJ O'Rourke's On the Wealth of Nations, which is an excellent introduction to Adam Smith's work. If you haven't bought it yet, please do so.
But I hadn't heard O'Rourke anywhere, since I don't watch TV.
Now, though, I've got a youtube “subscription” process, and subscribe to 34 channels. This means each time I go to youtube I've got some really good things to watch. Youtube also observes my online behaviour and offers me further choices in the direction of my preferences. I don't need to watch inane TV programs ever again! No better way to undertake ongoing lifelong learning.
“Bliss it was to be in that dawn to be alive”, as Wordsworth would have said.
