I once read a quote which said, ‘That no matter what historians claim, BC really stands for Before Coffee’. Any coffee addict or lover like me knows exactly what this person is talking about.

When, how and why this tradition started is unknown. Typically, coffee chains across the world celebrate this day by offering free cups of coffee or discounts. This day is also used to promote fair trade coffee and spread awareness about the plight of coffee growers across the world.
