Public Transport on Greece’s strike day, Apr 9/2014

Passengers are going to be confronted with some problems as personnel at public transport means will participate in the 24-hour general strike on Wednesday, April 9th 2014.Problems in movement will come after tomorrow, Wednesday, passengers, due to the involvement of employees in the 24-hour strike ADEDI GSEE.

The biggest problems will occur for anyone wanting to travel by train, proastiakos and ferries and trolley buses, as their personnel joins the strike.

The trains strike will affect also metro passengers who want to move up to and form the Athens airport.

Specifically:

Tram, Metro and urban train ISAP will operate as usual. However the metro will operate up to station.

Buses: will operate from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Trains, Proastiakos, trolley buses: on 24-hour strike

Seamen: on 24-hour strike

Air flights controllers decided NOT go on strike, so no flight delays and disturbances are expected.
