The office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel was evacuated Wednesday morning following the discovery of several suspicious objects, a Berlin Police spokesman said. Witnesses said Merkel's bodyguards became suspicious when they spotted four yellow mail crates left outside the office and contacted the bomb squad.
