In Astana, Netanyahu warns Iran: 'We are not a rabbit, we are a tiger'

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu met Wednesday with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the presidential palace in Kazakhstan's capital Astana. When Nazarbayev asked Netanyahu if he had any message for Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan next week, the Israeli leader responded with a message saying ”Don't threaten us, we are not a rabbit, we are a tiger. If you threaten us you endanger yourself.” He added that if Iran changes its approach towards Israel, his country would reciprocate. 
Netanyahu later met with his Kazakh counterpart Bakytzhan Sagintayev and the two leaders signed agreements on research and development, aviation, agriculture, technology and security. Netanyahu requested Kazakhstan to support Israel's bid for a seat on the UN Security Council in 2019.
