A shooting Thursday afternoon on Baron Hirsch St. in the Petach Tikva market in central Israel was followed by a stabbing attack at the nearby Hovevei Zion St. Five people were injured. A Palestinian resident of the West Bank was neutralized and detained for questioning. The local police confirmed that the motive for the combined attack was terrorism.
