(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. February 6, 2017, 12:54 PM (IDT)

In an interview with US President Donald Trump over the weekend, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly called the Russian leader “a killer,” to which Trump replied by saying, “There are many killers… You think we’re so innocent?” Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on Trump’s reply but lashed out at Fox, calling O’Reilly’s remarks “unacceptable and offensive” and demanding an apology. Trump’s fellow Republicans criticized his comment for drawing a moral equivalent between Russia and the US.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
