(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 16, 2017, 8:47 AM (IDT)

Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in Beijing on Thursday morning and signed cooperation agreements worth up to $65 billion. The specifics of the deals were not released but Saudi media reports said some of them are in the fields of science, energy and infrastructure, while others are in the field of aerospace. A Saudi spokesman said in Beijing that the two leaders also discussed other topics such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the situation in Syria and the war on terror. Less than a day earlier, Salman's son, Saudi deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, met US President Donald Trump and other senior officials at the White House, as DEBKAfile reported.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
