(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. April 6, 2017, 5:31 PM (IDT)

Jibril Rajoub, who previously served as head of the Palestinian Authority's secret police, was served with a summons when he arrived at New York's JFK airport on Wednesday. Rajoub, who is making his first trip to the US, faces a $250 million lawsuit over the 1995 killing of a Palestinian American. Family members of Azam Rahim who initiated the legal steps against Rajoub claim that the deceased was tortured to death at a detention facility of the Palestinian Preventive Security Force when Rajoub served as its head.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
