According to Nuclear Regulation Authority, radioactive fallout level (Cs-134/137) in Tokyo was the second highest in Kanto area in May 2013.

The report was released on 6/28/2013.

In this survey, Kanto area consists of 7 prefectures, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba and Kanagawa.

The highest reading was 17 MBq/km2・month in Ibaraki, and the second highest reading of Tokyo was 16.9 MBq/km2・month, which was almost the same.

The average reading in Kanto area was 9.84 MBq/km2・month. The reading of Tokyo was 1.72 times much as average of Kanto area.
