(Before It's News)

According to Tepco, they installed a new purification system into the seaside of reactor3.

The system is described as “fibrous adsorbent purification system”, but it only adsorbs Cs-134/137 among all the leaking nuclides.

It was installed inside of the silt fence at 14:00 6/17/2013.

As a trend, the radioactivity density in seawater of reactor3 is significantly higher than reactor1, 2 and 4. Tepco has made no explanation about this.

(cf, Radioactivity density in seawater of reactor3 reached the highest reading since 2/1/2013, 5 times much as reactor2 [URL])
