Fukushima Diary found Tepco reports different readings about the same analysis.
On 6/17/2013, Tepco reported they measured 1,200 Bq/m3 of Cs-137 from the sample taken near Reactor1 ~ 4 side of South Discharge Channel in Japanese. This is the report about “Results of the radioactive material analysis related to the leaked water from the pipeline connecting from Desalination System (Reverse Osmosis Membrane) to Concentrated Water Storage Tank”.
Though Tepco doesn’t clearly state what the sample was, it suggests the possibility of another leakage from the water transferring system.
The reading of 1,200 Bq/m3 was exactly the same level as the detection limit.
On the other hand, in the English version of the same report, they state the Cs-137 level was lower than the detection limit represented as ND.
On 6/6/2013, Fukushima Diary reported the radiation readings are different between English version and Japanese version in the plant survey map as well. (cf, English version of Fukushima plant survey map shows atmospheric dose lower than Japanese version by 90% [URL])
