According to Tepco, radiation level of the groundwater spiked around reservoir No.1 on 7/10/2013.
Tepco has completed transferring contaminated water from this reservoir to spare tank, this reservoir was nearly empty.
However, all β nuclides kept being detected from the leakage detector hole water.
(cf, Radiation level increasing in leakage detector hole of “nearly empty” reservoir No.1 [URL])
In order to “dilute” the retained water, Tepco has been re-stocking contaminated water in the reservoir since 6/19/2013.
(cf, Tepco stocking contaminated water in the leaking reservoir No.1 again, Tepco “diluting” [URL 2])
To observe leaked contaminated water spreading widely underground, Tepco made 22 borings.
On 7/10/2013, Tepco detected all β nuclides jumped up (2~5 times much) in 4 borings around this reservoir. Those borings are located in North, South and West side of the reservoir. There is no boring on the East side. It suggests the leaked water is spreading in every direction.

7/10/2013:5.4×10^4 Bq/m3
7/9/2013 : < 2.8×10^4 Bq/m3
