Tepco “Tritium density has been rising in seawater since May.”

According to Tepco, Tritium density in seawater has been increasing since this May. (The graph below.)

In their report about radioactive material density in groundwater and seawater published on 7/12/2013, they stated the Tritium density in seawater stayed around 200,000 Bq/m3 but it has been picking up since this May.

The location is North side of reactor1~4 water intake.

Tepco didn’t clearly state Tritium is flowing from the ground.

From their latest report, 930,000 Bq/m3 of Tritium was detected in seawater from reactor1~4 water intake. The sampling date was 7/9/2013.
