4 fuel assemblies found deformed after removing the debris in SFP of Reactor 3

Following up this article.. Tepco released the video and photos to remove debris from SFP 3 [URL]

On 8/4/2015, Tepco announced they found 4 fuel assemblies deformed in SFP 3 (Spent Fuel Pool Reactor 3).

These assemblies were under the removed 20 t of the debris. Tepco investigated it by underwater camera.

The deformed parts are called handle on the top of the assembly. It will be more difficult to remove the fuel assemblies.

It has not been announced how Tepco is going to remove the stored fuel assemblies from SFP 3 yet.

In those released photos, the pool looks blue for some reason.
