On 10/20/2015, Kamakura city government announced they measured 171 Bq/Kg from the earth of a playground at an elementary school. The school name is Yamasaki Elementary School.
Cs-134 density was 31 Bq/Kg to prove this is from Fukushima accident. The sampling date was this August.
They collected the samples at 25 elementary schools and junior high schools. Cs-134/137 was detected at 22 of 25 schools.
The city government concluded in the report that the converted atmospheric dose is lower than the safety limit. However, the Cs-134/137 density was 26 Bq/Kg in 2014. It jumped up 6.6 times since last year. The possible reason is not mentioned in their report.
