Kanto area still has as double earthquakes as before 311

Prof. Toda from Tohoku university reported that Kanto area still has earthquakes as double frequently as before 311.

From his research, in large area to surround Tokyo bay, the frequency of earthquake remains over double of before 311 from 2. 2015 to 2. 2016. In some areas, it was five times much as before 311.

The frequency dropped when one year passed after 311, however  it hasn’t decreased for these 4 years. He states major quake can still easily happen in Kanto area.
