Will the Major Media Accept Responsibility for Race Riots Following Zimmerman’s Acquittal?
The major Mainstream Media in this country, infested as they are by Progressive “Liberal” sympathizers, have elevated the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin trial into a circus of grotesque proportions. Rather than truthfully address the issues involved in a case that should have never gone to trial in the first place, the Mainstream Media have been cheerleaders in the prosecution of George Zimmerman from Day One. They have needlessly fanned the flames of racial antogonism, and in the process engendered unnecessary racial animosity.
Based on the reportage of this trial, some media critics have called the press by their new, well-earned monicker, “presstitutes” a laughable amalgam of their noble profession grafted with the oldest one known to humanity. However, in the case of the Zimmerman/Martin trial, this new appellation is entirely accurate.
Police initially did not even arrest George Zimmerman after they had analyzed the evidence at the scene. They claimed Zimmerman acted in justifiable self-defense, based on witness testimony and his obvious injuries. Yet as soon as race hustler extraordinaire Al Sharpton began to agitate for prosecution of Zimmerman, the local prosecutors immediately decided that this case deserved to go to trial. Add The Black Messiah’s pronouncement from the Oval Office, who stated that “….if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon…” and it’s clear that President Obama did nothing but add fuel to the fire to create a predictable media circus. In the interim, what we have learned about the Zimmerman case actually pales in comparison to what we have learned about the current state of the U.S. news media.
It is not an exaggeration to state that the vaunted “free press”, The Fourth Estate known as the Mainstream Media, has become a serious threat to the proper functioning of our Republic. Almost as if acting on cue from race pimp Sharpton, and egged on by the Truthteller in the White House, the general public has constantly been bombarded from Day One with photographs of cutesy-pootsey little Trayvon as a 12 year old choirboy, rather than the 17 year old street thug and drug user he actually was when he had his encounter with Zimmerman. This deceptive photograph is the same photo that has been run consistently throughout every piece of reportage regarding this trial, from print to television media.
Why show a photograph of Trayvon that is 5 years out of date? Especially when later photos are available which show him as he actually was, a street thug? Because the progressive liberal elite want to create “sympathy” for Trayvon. In fact, the bleeting hearts of MSNBC have actually stated that there seems “…little hope…” that Zimmerman will be convicted. Hmmmm…. “little hope….” Gosh, I wonder where their sympathies lay? Certainly not with the evidentiary truth! The problem with this tactic is that in their burning angst to correct a perceived injustice against a person of color, the Mainstream Media, comprised almost exclusively of white Liberal Progressives, have created an atmosphere of needless racial hostility and animosity that may end very badly for some innocent people should George Zimmerman be acquitted.
To compound the racial animus which the Mainstram Media loves to stir and which they stoop to create even when it is not present, never forget that Peruvian George Zimmerman was immediately labeled a “White Hispanic.” This appellation, a first in media history, was appended to Zimmerman for no other reason than to create a racial division among the U.S. population. It’s only purpose as an adjective is to cast Zimmerman as a covert member of the oppressive White “cracker” majority. Rather than accurately portray Zimmerman as a “Latino”, an appellation he would have qualified for had he been the defendant in a case with a White attacker, the presstitues of the Mainstream Media cannot control their antipathy towards anyone or anything that threatens the outcome of their racial political agenda, which includes finding George Zimmerman guilty and punishing him accordingly. It simply cannot be, in the Liberal White Universe of self-loathing, that a Black person can commit a crime, especially against a person of “color.” No, the person of color must instantly be elevated to the rank of the oppressor class, and “presto”, Peruvian Latino George Zimmerman immediately becomes a “White Hispanic.”
Labeling Zimmerman thusly makes almost as much sense as labeling President Barack Obama a “White” Black Man, since his mother was actually White. Of course, even recognizing Obama’s bi-racial makeup is a media no-no, because that moves The Annointed One out of the category of pure racial victimhood which he has overcome thru the hard struggle of accepting numerous grants of monetary assistance from White institutions and foundations. We certainly cannot taint the virtue of a man who claims the superiority of his victimhood by appearing to wear the mantle of vast racial oppression, altho one could make the case that with a White mother, Obama’s oppression was only half vast.
Of course, to stir additional racial animus, we learned that some national news media outlets had the brilliant idea to edit the audio of George Zimmerman’s 911 call to make it seem like he was profiling Trayvon as a Black man, rather than responding to the question of the operator on the other end of the conversation, who asked Zimmerman to describe Martin.
Notwithstanding the circus of “prosecution” witnesses who have inadvertently and repeatedly bolstered the arguments of the defense, it is astounding that the news media has “accidentally” broadcast George Zimmerman’s home address, cell phone number, home phone number, and even his Social Security number. They may as well print maps to Zimmerman’s home on-line and post them to their web sites with crosshairs so that stalkers can go find him and his material witnesses for “retribution” after he is acquitted.
Seriously, think about this – we have a “mainstream news media” that is so reckless and so “in the tank” for the half black/half white Kenyan who currently acts as our President that they will do anything to curry favor and push a racist agenda to show how “liberal” and “progressive” they really are…. and the evidentiary truths of the Zimmerman trial be damned!
In the final analysis, the “liberal progressive” mainstream press does not care whether their deliberate distortions creates racial animosity, animosity which may very well result in the needless, tragic deaths of more innocent people who may be killed “in retribution” over a street thug high on marijuana who jumped out of the bushes and pummeled a helpless George Zimmerman to the ground. Rather than call 911 on his cell phone, Trayvon Martin decided to mete out “street justice” to the “creepy ass honky cracker” who was following him, and now the State of Florida has had to pay for a trial that should never have been, while the Mainstream Media broadcasts the highlights of this trial, reaping a stream of advertising dollars while the false imagery of a 12 year old Trayvon embeds itself in a never ending visual crescendo across America.
If Zimmerman is judged innocent and freed, how many Black vigilantes will feel justified in offing one or more innocent “white Hispanics” or White people in general as “payback” for a crime which this nation’s once respectable “news media” fanned the flames in order to help prove their liberal-progressive “bonafides” to themselves and their colleagues? How many innocent people will die because the racist Mainstream Media, consumed as they always are with Liberal Guilt, cannot bear to consider the idea that maybe Trayvon Martin actually was at fault, and this his actions and judgments that night tragically and inadvertently lead to his death?
If George Zimmerman is found not guilty, will the bleeding heart progressive liberal racists take any comfort knowing that one or more innocent people may die due to the lies and distortions they promoted and promulgated as this unnecessary trial, a trial which provided advertising fodder for their corporate headquarters? Will they sleep better knowing that one or more innocent people will be murdered in retribution in Trayvon Martin’s name, whereas if they had simply reported this story with the same unbiased journalistic skills they would have employed had both perpetrator and victim been of the same race, no innocent lives would be in jeopardy?
Time will tell. Yet other than the morning’s sunrise, there is nothing more predictable than Liberal Guilt, a mental defect that drives those afflicted to procure the handiest scapegoat upon which to cast their unconscious racial animus in order to rid themselves of the perceptual terror of their own racial bias and animosity. Protesting the innocence of their motivation to each other, an act which approximates an intellectual circle jerk, they will somehow arise fresh from their beds to do once more that which they do so automatically – blithely proclaim the purity of their non-racial prejudices, while those same unconscious guilt-ridden projections have caused them to report the Zimmerman trial in a manner which nearly guarantees that innocent lives will be lost.
Most sadly, you can rest assured that there will be those in the Progressive-Liberal Media who will derive sick comfort in the knowledge that some innocent “creepy ass cracker” will pay the price for George Zimmerman’s acquittal.
