Models are clothed with chocolate creations, strutting the catwalk at the World Chocolate Wonderland fashion show in Shanghai. Full Story: On Thursday, designers showed their sweet tooth at the World Chocolate Wonderland fashion show in Shanghai. Models walked the catwalk clad in edible chocolate arrangements. One model, Yu Mengxiang, was worried over the delicate nature of the designs. [Yu Mengxiang, Model]: “The most difficult part of walking the catwalk in chocolate is that I'm afraid the chocolates will drop or break into pieces. Then it could destroy the original design.” Zhang Xiaoxiao had an entirely different concern. [Zhang Xiaoxiao, Model]: “My strongest feeling after wearing clothes is that I might be willing to eat them. The best part of doing this catwalk is the thick aroma of the chocolate. It's the most intuitive way to convey this joyful atmosphere to the audience.” The World Chocolate Wonderland fashion show was launched by the cosmetics company MAC. It's Shanghai's second official chocolate fashion show; the first one was held in December of 2011. And it's just an opening act for the World Chocolate Wonderland theme park, which features and endless amount of chocolate creations for visitors.
