If the American Indian College Fund (AICF) can raise $50,000 by April 30 through mailed donations, USA Funds has greed to match that amount dollar for dollar. In addition, USA Funds has agreed to match online donations $2 for every $1 up to another $15,000.
So, by going to CollegeFund.org and clicking “donate,” your gift could be worth triple its value.
“Imagine how much you could help a struggling student with your well-timed gift,” reads a mailed press release from AICF. “You could be the difference for a student facing the prospect of dropping out of college. You could make the difference for a struggling Native American family, even a community.”
And the giving doesn’t end there—an online press release from AICF April 3 announced 90 scholarships of $2,000 each to Native American students attending a tribal college or university funded by USA Funds—a total of $200,000.
“The American Indian College Fund is successfully making a difference in the lives of the students it serves by helping them realize their dreams of postsecondary education,” said Robert C. Ballard, USA Funds senior vice president, program and corporate development.
