Here is the definition of complicity-one that I think is commonly understood and accepted:
1: association or participation in or as if in a wrongful act
2: an instance of complicity
It is defined as association or participation-nowhere does it say anything about exoneration, exemption, or a lack of guilt.
To my way of thinking the clear implication is when associated with a murder for example the one whose finger is on the trigger is not somehow innocent.
But that’s the AIM and Peltier line-just ignorant unwitting dupes who oh by the way also happen to be mighty visionary warriors that were led around by their nose and forced and beguiled into murdering people.
That didn’t work at Nuremburg and it sure as hell doesn’t work with any murders AIM committed.
It doesn’t make AIM or the mentally challenged Peltier a victim-and they must think people are really stupid if they will buy into it…..but then they may be partially correct in that assumption related to some people.
