The way Obama is negotiating with Iran cannot lead to anything good.

There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.” – Henry David Thoreau

There are two men—let’s call them Jack and Charlie. Jack has a gun, while Charlie is unarmed and incapable of purchasing or manufacturing a gun. Though Jack has a gun, he has no intention of using it on his counterpart; he simply keeps it for his own protection. Jack has absolutely no enmity toward Charlie. However, Charlie despises Jack. For Charlie, Jack is the enemy, and he must be eliminated. This hatred is well known to both parties because on multiple occasions, Charlie has said that above all else, he wants Jack dead.

One day, Charlie approaches Jack and asks if he may have the parts to construct a gun. Jack balks, asking Charlie to explain to him why he wants the parts necessary for the construction of a gun. Charlie responds, telling Jack that he simply wants the gun so that he may hunt for food.

Jack, obviously nervous about the prospect of Charlie possessing a gun—given his past threats—makes a concession, telling Charlie that he will help him build traps to catch animals so that he may have food to eat. Charlie is outraged, telling Jack that traps are not enough. He wants a gun.
