Surely the biggest news isn’t that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has files obtained by Judicial Watch revealing that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government—but that the FBI is sitting on those files doing diddle-y-squat about them.
Knowing that the FBI has never moved on documented proof that Jarrett’s family tree reads like the Who’s Who of Communism is akin to the in-’yer-face instructions of one William “Big Bill” Haywood (1869-1928), founder of Industrial Workers of the World and jailed for speaking against World War 1. Big Bill who fled to Moscow was cremated, leaving half his ashes in Chicago’s Waldheim Cemetery and the other half over the Kremlin. A one-upmanship kind of message beyond the grave advising: “Take THAT you capitalist creeps!”
Also dead, but still sending out loud messages from Waldheim Cemetery is Frank A. Pellegrino (1890-1969) whose grave features a hammer and sickle. (Graveyards.com)
Valerie Jarrett’s hammer and sickle hangs right over the White House.
Some Chicago residents aren’t convinced that the dead communists buried in Waldheim are really among the dearly departed because of the bustle of life that continues around their graves.
That’s because busloads of pilgrims keep coming, year after year, to pay last respects to the Communists interred at Waldheim Cemetery.
“Because it was unassociated with any religious institution, it was chosen as burial place of the Haymarket martyrs. After they were buried there, the cemetery became a place of pilgrimage for anarchists, leftists, and union members. Due to the importance of the event in history, and the monuments’ role as an international pilgrimage site, the Haymarket memorial was the first cemetery memorial to be designated a National Historic Landmark.[citation needed]. The Haymarket Martyrs’ Monument was designed by sculptor Albert Weinert. (Wikipedia)
“German Waldheim Cemetery, previously known as Waldheim Cemetery, and currently Forest Home Cemetery is located at 863 Des Plaines Ave. in Forest Park, a suburb of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois.[1] It was originally founded in 1873 as a non-religion-specific cemetery, where Freemasons, Romani, and German-speaking immigrants to Chicago could be buried without regard for religious affiliation. In 1969, it merged with the adjacent Forest Home Cemetery, also founded in 1873, with the combined cemetery being called Forest Home (Waldheim means forest home in German).
In homage to the Haymarket Martyrs, many other anarchists and socialists are buried at Waldheim, including:
Slim Brundage[2]
Voltairine de Cleyre
Eugene Dennis
Joseph Dietzgen
Raya Dunayevskaya
Elizabeth Gurley Flynn
William Z. Foster
Chicago has been a hot bed for Communism in the US for more than 100 years. The University of Chicago has had an active group since the 30s and many of them still live in Hyde Park and Chicago. I would not be surprised if a number of Obama’s neighbors in Hyde Park have been involved in the Communist Party of the USA, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, or Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights. Chicago is the birthplace of American communism.
