(Before It's News)

And the President Donald Trump record for fostering job growth continues …

Friday, Trump announced via Twitter: “Today, I was pleased to announce the official approval of the presidential permit for the #KeystonePipeline. A great day for American jobs!”

Estimates are the pipeline, from Canada through several U.S. states to the oil refineries on America’s coast, will bring 40,000 new jobs.

Even unions wanted Keystone — but Barack Obama didn’t. Why? His radical environmental friends hated the thought of land being disturbed.

And Native Americans hopped aboard the anti-Keystone train in recent months, as well.

The Keystone Pipeline is predicted to provide about 40,000 jobs.

The project isn’t shovel ready just yet; several activists have petitioned Nebraska’s public service commission for the right to sue. State law requires they show a personal effect from the pipeline — a personal reason why the pipeline’s construction will impact their lives, their properties, their businesses.

As Fox Business reports:

“Opponents asked the Nebraska Public Service Commission Wednesday to let them intervene in the case, allowing them to file legal briefs, cross-examine witnesses and present formal arguments alongside pipeline developer TransCanada’s attorneys.

“Nebraska requires residents to show a ‘substantial legal interest’ in a project before they can intervene. Commission Chairman Tim Schram will decide who qualifies at a later date. …

“Members of the Public Service Commission generally take about seven months to approve or deny an application, but they can postpone a decision for up to a year. Their decision hinges on whether they believe the project serves a public interest, based on evidence presented at a public hearing. Four of the commission’s five members are Republicans.”

But it’s just a matter of time before their cause will crumble.

Trump’s signed, the State Department’s on board and businesses are readying to start the hiring.

Again, from Fox Business:

“According to a 2014 report by the U.S. State Department, Keystone XL would support about 42,100 jobs, including about 3,900 workers directly involved in construction. Workers, including those indirectly supported by the pipeline, would earn about $2 billion.”

Americans aren’t about to lose out on this business opportunity.
