Pictures I took from Catfish Row Children’s Art Park today while four buses were loading and unloading passengers from the American Queen.

The catfish is the symbol for Catfish Row Children’s Art Park.  Levee Street is also a truck route as you can see a truck trailer passing by.  It can get pretty tight/busy with the buses picking up and dropping off passengers after sightseeing and visiting the Vicksburg National Military Park.

The Vicksburg Riverfront Murals and the American Queen smoke stacks peeking up over the floodwall.

I walked down to the edge of the waterfront today to take this picture of the grand American Queen in the Yazoo Diversion Canal and to see the largest riverboat ever built.  She will be coming almost every week bringing her passengers to tour our civil war town of Vicksburg – The Key To The South!

A mother, stepmother, grandmother and great grandmother who was taught deer hunting by my second husband, Bob, in my mid-forties. I’m still hunting today and loving it!
