Interview w/ Scott Corrales of Inexplicata-The Journal of Hispanic Ufology

A pleasure to get to interview Scott Corrales of Inexplicata: The Journal of Hispanic Ufology. One reason to make people in North America and other parts of the world more aware of the fascinating happenings going on in this part of the world. These cases are important puzzle pieces and very rarely have I had a chance to speak about any of them at my radio show at The Church Of Mabus. So it is great to be able to talk about them here with Scott so we can learn about them and their importance. As well as how it seems this part of the world is so much more open when it comes to UFOs and alien life and strange happenings. A whole lot more than our concrete boxed realities here in the United States that are super glued shut with religious fever. I hope you will enjoy this interview as much as I did. Presenting…

1. What inspired you to create the organization and blog Inexplicata-The Journal of Hispanic Ufology? I am curious to if it was personal UFO experiences and how this developed.

Scott Corrales: A bit of background is necessary. In 1992 I started a newsletter called SAMIZDAT (not knowing there was a neo-nazi publication of the same name) and it became a very active outlet for the most recent goings-on in Latin American and Iberian ufologica. But the Internet outpaced our ability to keep the information fresh, so we pulled away from the concept altogether. In October 1998, I started Inexplicata with Dr. Rafael Lara, who withdrew from the UFO scene a very long time ago. The idea was to create a “virtual institute” of ufology, a think tank of researchers and writers. Hence we attracted a great circle of collaborators in every Spanish-speaking country (with exceptions…don’t thnk we have anyone in Bolivia,or Equatorial Guinea, for that matter, which happens to be Africa’s only Spanish-speaking republic).
