Lately I’ve been thinking about the kingdom that is to come, as this planet is coming apart at the seams. (I recently wrote a book about it. LOL!) I don’t believe we can fix what is happening on this blue ball. Some will say that is a pessimistic attitude, but think about it, how are we going to fix the ideology of the Mullah’s in Iran who shout death to America, death to Israel, like clock-work every Friday?
How are we going to move 11 million illegal aliens out of our country, and how did they get here in the first place?
How can we fix Fukushima?
How can we stop the abortion holocaust where over 1 BILLION babies have been killed since Roe v Wade.
The bottom line for me is we can’t and when we read the scripture above it becomes plain, at least to me, that the reason why Yeshua, our King, rules with a rod of iron, is because there is no other way to bring peace and justice on this earth. Remember, we will be flying to earth with Him, on our white horses, but there are millions and millions of people who will be here on the earth when He returns who are not in glorified bodies.
This is the kingdom age, the literal millennium, where Yeshua/Jesus reigns on earth for one thousand years. I doubt there will be abortion mills, porno films, crackhouses, strip joints, gangs, dishonest politicians, sex slaves, and a host of other nasty things which will not be tolerated in the Kingdom.
However, those of us who are in glorified bodies will be managing the kingdom with Yeshua/Jesus. I have no idea how this will take place, but I believe we will be given villages, towns or cities to be in charge over, to help with the transition.
I don’t think for a minute Yeshua/Jesus is going to tolerate gay parades, bullying, tattoo parlors, lewd and provocative dressing, twerking, Victoria Secret, and Super Bowl half-time shows with the likes of Madonna or Katy Perry!
He will rule from Jerusalem, and He will bring peace to the earth, and healing to the nations, but He will rule with a rod of iron. Remember too that the Fallen Cherub, Satan is cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years, so the ruler of the world who is creating much of the insanity that we see at the moment, will no longer be able to do so. Maranatha!
