The state of Utah has a history of unusual electrical disturbances.  One of these occured in 1993.  The sheep died first,  827 of them, at night, when most of the animals were sleeping, on top of Pine Canyon.  This was followed by the disappearance of a housing community.  Not just the people.  The houses themselves disappeared.  Click above for video.
