We know from the Biblical Prophetic narrative that there are two kingdoms. One is the Kingdom of the Most High God, the other is the kingdom the Fallen Cherub, i.e. Satan.
The currency of God’s Kingdom is faith. The currency of Satan’s is fear.
The hallmark of God’s kingdom is HIS goodness. The hallmark of Satan’s is to rob, kill and destroy.
“Taste and see that the Lord is Good!”
I interviewed John B. Wells for The Watchman Chronicles and John B. stated that Satan is the father of lies and thus, everything is a lie.
A few weeks ago on another installment of the Bun, I discussed the web of lies that engulf some of us. Satan is always lying to us, we can be sure and certain of that. The Bible tells us there is no truth in him (Satan) and that he is father of lies. That’s quite a title.
Can you imagine the lies he told the other angels in order to get them to follow him?
Think of the lie in the garden: You will be like god when you eat of the fruit.
We should never forget that Satan is both accuser and destroyer.
Contrast this to Gods goodness.
I was in the shower the other day pondering this and suddenly I felt the Lord’s presence, His goodness. It was overwhelming. It was wonderful.
This planet is full of the works of The Fallen One, from the poison on TV, to the crimes on the streets, the dishonesty of politicians, the endless wars, the depravity of the drug trade and human trafficking. In some ways it’s an uphill battle.
The good news is: Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
God is good all the time… period. His goodness leads us and guides us through His spirit. His word guides us if we study to show ourselves approved.
Two kingdoms. One of faith the other fear. One of goodness the other of lies. With that in mind who will we serve? Which kingdom will be part of?
