Days of Chaos – Isaiah 17?

President Trump responded to the Syrain gas-attack with a sortie of Tomahawk Cruise-missiles which took out the Syrian air base in that troubled, war-torn country.
I’ve discussed the propping up Bashar Al Assad, by the Russians, many times on this blog and once again Syria, Assad and the Russians are the focal point of today’s update. (I’ll follow this with a video shortly which will be posted on my YOUTUBE channel L A Marzulli)
We know for a fact that Saddam Husien had chemical weapons. He used them against the Kurds in his own country and when he did so thousands were killed. However, I think that shortly before the Gulf-war started Hussien moved his chemical weapons out of Iraq into SYRIA. Assad has had control over these since the Gulf-war. Is he using them now? Or, was this attack a false-flag like some are saying?
There’s no way to vet the gas attack other than the clips we are shown on the news channels and by what we are told.
We may also note the Citizen Trump denounced any action in Syria when Obama was president but PRESIDENT Trump is decrying the killing of innocent civilians and because a “red-line” was crossed Trump gave the go-ahead to use the cruise missiles. While the left will most likely denounce Trumps actions, it shows his ability to react quickly to situations and in this case I think his response was the correct one.
Obama announced his red-line with the Syrians and when they crossed it under his presidency, by using chemical weapons, Obama did nothing in response. This sent a message to the Russians, the Arab street and ISIS. In my opinion Obama’s actions were a classic lead-from-behind-do-nothing strategy, which exacerbated the entire situation in the region.
Trump is a leader. You don’t become a billion-air by being passive and doing nothing when adversity stares you in the face. Notice too, how Trumps not telegraphing what he’s going to do by holding a press conference so the Syrians could clear the air-field. Trump acted swiftly and decisively. Bully for The Donald.
With all that in mind how does Trumps actions dovetail to the Isaiah 17, prophecy which states that Damascus—the capital of Syria—will become a ruinous heap.
What will the Russians do in response to the US aggression? How will Israel react? What about Iran and their proxy Hezbollah? Lot’s to think about in this global mix.
Today is the anniversary of WWI. We must ask ourselves this. Did we just witness a Sarejevo moment with the gas-attack and the response by President Trump?
In the end: What was written will come to pass. What was foretold will unfold.
