Released Guantanamo Terrorist Killed in Afghanistan, Recruiting for ISIS

We’ve been trying to stop Obama from releasing terrorists from Guantanamo Bay for months.
Our argument is simple: if these extremists are released back to the Middle East, they will take up arms against the United States.
And the data definitely supports this. These terrorists are returning to the battlefield to fight Americans.
Take Mullah Abdul Rauf, for example. This man was a Taliban Commander who was captured by American soldiers in 2001. Then, he was in charge of an elite group of soldiers who terrorized the Taliban’s enemies.
He was held in Guantanamo until 2007 when he was released. Then, he fell off the grid.
Fast forward to today. The Pentagon just announced that it killed Abdul Rauf in a drone strike in Afghanistan. His crime? He became a recruiter for ISIS.
The assertion that these terrorists are going to give up trying to kill Americans is ludicrous. Every time a terrorist is released from GITMO, our soldiers and our allies are put at risk!
The GOP is working on legislation that would stop Obama from releasing these terrorists once and for all! But this bill still faces an uphill battle.
The legislation being proposed in the Senate would prohibit transfers to Yemen for two years, suspend the transfer of high-risk terrorists ANYWHERE for the same period, and repeal the loophole that allows the administration to transfer prisoners to foreign countries.
It doesn’t get much more common sense than this.
The government of Yemen just completely collapsed. Yet, Obama wants to retain the power to send Guantanamo terrorists to this failed state. Even the terrorists released to the United Arab Emirates were recently caught trying to rejoin the fight.
The President also wants the power to send high-risk terrorists back to Afghanistan.
Mullah Abdul Rauf is a perfect example of what happens when extremists are released back to the battlefield. This is what happens when a RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORIST is sent back home to Afghanistan.
There, I said it. He was a radical Islamic terrorist.
This administration is so afraid of calling our enemy by its real name. Obama administration officials resort to verbal gymnastics just to avoid calling these terrorists what they are: radical Islamists.
But it goes so much further than that. Over the weekend, President Obama claimed that the terrorist attack on a Kosher deli in Paris was “random.”
And then, yesterday morning, White House Spokesman Josh Earnest defended the President’s remarks. Apparently, a terror attack against a Jewish deli, where Jewish patrons are assumed to be, is nothing but a “random attack.”
No, this is not a joke. This is how the Obama administration does business.
It might seem like these topics aren’t connected… but they are. The President is so terrified of offending Muslims that he is unwilling to even admit that there are radical Muslims out there committing horrible atrocities.
This is the same political correctness that caused Obama to bring up the Crusades as a justification for ISIS burning a Jordanian pilot alive. Seriously. He told the crowd at the Annual Prayer Breakfast that they can’t judge ISIS because Christians committed atrocities a thousand years ago halfway around the world…
We need to stop this nonsense and recognize that radical Islam is our enemy. And the first step is making sure that these radical Islamic terrorists are not released from Guantanamo and sent back to the battlefield!

More terrorists have been caught trying to rejoin the fight.
The data shows that a whopping 30% of released terrorists end up returning to waging Jihad.
No more… Not one more released terrorist!
Force Congress to put a stop to this dangerous terrorist release program!
