The University System of New Hampshire will wait to set in-state tuition rates until June, once the Legislature and Gov. Maggie Hassan approve the state’s next two-year budget plan and USNH learns how much state funding it will receive.
Hassan is set to reveal her budget proposal Thursday at 1 p.m. It will then go to the Republican-controlled House and Senate for revision. Lawmakers must sign off on a final budget by June 30, which will go into effect July 1.
