▶ ISIL,Palestinian fighters engage in intense battles in Syria’s Yarmuk refugee camp – YouTube
Palestinian factions are sounding the alarm over the dire situation in Syria’s Yarmuk refugee camp, where the ISIL terrorists and Palestinian fighters are engaged in intense battles. The Palestine Liberation Organization says Yarmuk has become a death trap for Palestinian refugees.
The PLO is urging the United Nations and other international bodies to take all necessary measures for the evacuation of refugees. It has also expressed deep concern about reports of kidnappings, beheadings and mass killings of refugees by the ISIL Takfiris. Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has also denounced the fighting inside Yarmuk. The camp used to accommodate more than 160-thousand Palestinians but the number has dropped to less than 18-thousand since the outbreak of war in Syria. Reports suggest 90 percent of Yarmouk has now fallen into the hands of the ISIL.
