Today: Obama Appealing Judge’s Amnesty Injunction!
Well my fellow Conservative… today is the day.
Today, the Obama administration finally goes before a panel from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to attempt to get Judge Andrew Hanen’s amnesty injunction lifted.
This injunction is the only thing stopping Obama from giving amnesty to millions of more illegal immigrants.
And right now, we could be just hours away from complete amnesty!
Force Congress to honor their promise to STOP Obama’s illegal alien amnesty program!
Most recently, Judge Hanen smacked the Obama administration down for lying in court about already processing 100,000 amnesty applications. The Department of Justice lawyers had the gall to ask Judge Hanen to lift his own injunction after they lied to his face. He obviously refused to do so.
But now, the administration’s lawyers are arguing before a three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit and asking them to lift the injunction and throw out the case entirely.
I hope that the court upholds Judge Hanen’s injunction, but the fact that they recently threw out a similar immigration case doesn’t convince me that they’ll do the right thing.
When Republicans had the opportunity to defund the amnesty bureaucracy earlier this year, the GOP said it wasn’t necessary because Judge Hanen had placed an injunction against it.
These RINOs then proceeded to completely fund the Department of Homeland Security.
Well, guess what. If the 5th Circuit Court overturns District Judge Hanen’s ruling, then the President’s amnesty bureaucracy begins processing more applications immediately!
The Department of (in)Justice is using every judicial maneuver to overturn this ruling.
We cannot afford to leave this up to a group of unelected judges. Congress must fulfill its promise and put a stop to Obama’s amnesty now!
So here’s the deal: The Obama administration has already started processing 100k new amnesty applications. If Judge Hanen’s injunction falls, then these 100,000 illegal aliens receive their legalization paperwork and countless other applications will be processed as well.
We just learned that the Obama administration has given 541,000 social security numbers to illegal aliens so far. That’s more than half a million and that only applies to Obama’s 2012 amnesty executive action. Imagine how large that number will be if Obama is allowed to extend amnesty to all illegal immigrants like he wants!
This is what is at stake. Millions of illegal immigrants will be granted amnesty and given social security numbers and work permits unless Congress intervenes!
It really is this simple. We are down to the wire here and potentially hours away from the Fifth Circuit issuing its decision.
I won’t put my trust in a group of unelected judges and neither should you. There’s only one way for you to stop this and that is to force Congress to intervene.
Earlier this year, right before John Boehner caved to the Left’s demands, more faxes, emails, and calls came into Congress about amnesty than were ever received on Obamacare.
The GOP knows that letting Obama’s amnesty program go into effect is political suicide. It is up to YOU to remind them of it!
