Former Massachusetts Governor and Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney Demands South Carolina Confederate Flag Be Scrapped
Observe the fake conservative in action, as he gravitates towards the position of Barack Obama and other Leftist worms.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, champion of whichever cause grants popularity at the immediate moment, has come out swinging both fists against the South, demanding that the Confederate flag hovering over the State House in Columbia be removed with all due haste.
Posting his arrogant orders through his Twitter account on Saturday morning, Romney cited the usual Marxist ideological talking point that the flag, a symbol held dear by millions, represents “racial hatred,” and should be relegated to the dust bin of history out of respect for the victims of Wednesday’s Charleston shooting.
Requests made to Romney for clarification by reporters were treated with the contempt that is second-nature among those inhabiting the Northeast region of the country, with the only answer being a condescending reply by a spokesperson via email.
On June 20 former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney called for South Carolina to remove the Confederate flag from their state Capitol grounds in Columbia.
His call comes in the wake of the heinous attack on Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. It follows a photo of the suspected gunman, Dylann Roof, in which Roof is seen leaning against his car with a Confederate flag license plate visible on the front of his vehicle being widely circulated.
Here were Romney’s exact words: “Take down the Confederate Flag at the SC Capitol. To many, it is a symbol of racial hatred. Remove it now to honor Charleston victims.”
With this, Romney joins President Obama in calling for the flag to be removed. In so doing, the former presidential candidate fails to realize he is taking a page of out of the left’s playbook, whereby they blame the flag instead of the miscreant, the gun instead of the gunman, etc.
Let us all hope that the plea made by this self-righteous, morally-bankrupt politician, who had no trouble pandering for South Carolinian and other Southern votes, is ignored outright, for we all know that when one give an inch to these creatures, they soon take a mile.
Still flying high, although the shrill call for removal is emanating from countless mouths of hatred.
