Infighting Intensifying between ISIL, Rival Group in Aleppo

Infighting between the ISIL and another terrorist group called ‘Fath Halab’ (Aleppo Conquest) intensified in the Northern province of Aleppo on Sunday.

The fierce clashes between ISIL and Fath Halab left tens of terrorists from both sides dead and dozens more injured, FNA dispatches said.

The Fath Halab terrorists pounded al-Bal village of Aleppo near the town of Souran with mortar shells.

Fath Halab captured many ISIL positions in al-Bal village and a tank of the Takfiri terrorist group.

The report came as clashes between Syrian militant groups have intensified in recent weeks.

Earlier today, a rival terrorist group kidnapped a senior ISIL leader in Homs province as the infighting among the terrorists has intensified in different parts of Syria.

Jeish al-Towhid terrorists abducted ISIL’s Rafed Taha in the city of Talbisa in Homs province where he was hiding.

In a statement, Jeish al-Towhid announced that Rafed Taha and his group have been responsible for the ISIL’s bloody clashes with Jeish al-Towhid in the Northern parts of Homs.

Differences erupted between the ISIL and Jeish al-Towhid after the ISIL abducted a senior member of Jeish al-Towhid from Talbisa Hospital and did not return him.

On Saturday, more than 29 Takfiri terrorists were killed after infighting erupted between ISIL and Al-Nusra Front in the Northwestern Syrian province of Aleppo.

According to Arab media reports, the ISIL terrorists and the Al-Nusra militants exchanged heavy gunfire over the control of al-Bal village in Aleppo.

At least 29 Takfiri terrorists were killed on both sides in the clashes, the reports added.

The reports also said that the al-Nusra Front gained the upper hand over the ISIL during the skirmishes and executed several members of the terrorist group after seizing a tank and huge amount of their ammunition.

The clashes between Al-Nusra Front and the ISIL have prompted 60,000 people to flee towns in some districts in Syria.

Reports suggest that hundreds of militants on both sides have so far been killed in the internecine clashes.

Iraqi Volunteer Forces Destroy ISIL’s IED-Manufacturing Workshop in Ramadi

Iraqi volunteer forces destroyed ISIL’s largest workshop used for the production of improvised explosive devices in the city of al-Ramadi.

The volunteer forces’ success came after Ashura and al-Aqida battalions conducted special operations to penetrate into ISIL-controlled areas in Western al-Ramadi.

The Iraqi forces killed a large number of ISIL terrorists in the operation and then destroyed the workshop.

On Saturday, the Iraqi army, backed by volunteer fighters, cut off a key supply route of the ISIL terrorists in Ramadi, killing 10 militants, a military source said.

Commander Lieutenant General Naser al-Ghannam said in a statement that the army troops cut the militants’ supply route connecting the Iraqi town of al-Qa’im with the city of Kabisa.

He further added that the operation led to the deaths of at least ten ISIL terrorists.

Malullah al-Obeidi, a senior local official, said on Saturday that fighters of Albu Mahal tribe inflicted major losses on the ISIL terrorists in the village of al-Modaham near the Ayn al-Asad air base, leaving more than 16 militants dead.

He added that the operation by the tribesmen led to the destruction of six vehicles belonging to the ISIL.

Also today, the Iraqi forces repulsed an ISIL attack in the city of Fallujah.

Syria: Kurdish Forces Win Back Strategic Int’l Highway in North

The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria won back control of a strategic international highway in the Northern parts of the country from the Takfiri terrorists on Sunday.

The Kurdish forces seized back Tal Abyad-Aleppo International Highway from the ISIL today.

The YPG fighters approached and surrounded the town of Tal Abyad in Reqqa province from both the Western and Eastern directions on Saturday.

Tal Abyad is a strategically important town due to its closeness to the Turkish borders.

Earlier today, A YPG statement said that its fighters have encircled the ISIL-held town of Suluk, a few kilometers to Southwest of Tal Abyad.

It said that the ISIL terrorists have lost control over Suluk and Kurdish forces were advancing toward Tal Abyad.

It also said the road linking Tal Abyad with Reqqa was under YPG control. The report could not be immediately confirmed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the Kurds were less than 10 kilometers (six miles) away from Tal Abyad.

The loss of Tal Abyad would be a major blow to the ISIL group.

The border town is a major avenue for commerce for the extremist group — through which it smuggles in foreign fighters and sells black-market oil. The city is also a key link between Turkey and the Northern Syrian city of Reqqa, the de-facto capital of the ISIL group’s self-declared caliphate.

The YPG has made a determined push into Reqqa province from neighboring Hasaka where it has driven ISIL from wide areas of territory since early May.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based organization, said the YPG fighters were now half-way between Suluk and Tal Abyad.
