Rep. Jason Chaffetz Turns Leadership Lapdog and Attacks Conservatives

(Before It's News)

Congressman Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) 81% goes on every conservative outlet possible to pose as one of us, but on Friday exposed himself as just another lapdog of leadership. And he did so in the most horrifying way.

Chaffetz took Congressman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) 87%subcommittee chairmanship away from him.

Meadows was one of just a few dozen conservatives in the House of Representatives who defied Speaker Boehner and voted against the rule on the trade legislation.

Others who voted against that rule include: New Jersey Rep. Robert Scott (D-VA) 18% Garrett (R-NJ)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’G000548′ ], who chairs the Financial Services subcommittee which oversees capital markets and government-sponsored enterprises; Louisiana Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) 91% holds the gavel of a Natural Resources subcommittee which oversees water, power and oceans; Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) 99% is the chairman of the oversight panel on Natural Resources; Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) 85% of Wyoming chairs the interior subcommittee on Oversight.

Lummis was removed from the Whip team, which she should not have been on to begin with. But none of the others have been removed from subcommittee positions. Chaffetz, however decided to serve as disciplinarian.

Instead of standing with conservatives who, in voting against the rule, signaled they were tired of Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) N/A% working with Democrats against conservative interests, Chaffetz decided to attack conservatives.

Next time he goes on television or talk radio to claim his conservative bona fides, remember Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) 81% has decided to serve as a lapdog for leadership.

In the meantime, please consider donating to Congressman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) 87%.
